Join Chef Tu at Chai Wu Harrods for a dedicated class in rolling, folding, and pleating your own signature Chai Wu dim sum creations. Under his watchful eye, master five different traditional wrapping designs. Reconnect with a culinary art that spans over 2,500 years old.
The Cantonese term ‘dim sum’ means to ”touch the heart”. So, whether it is a company bonding event, or a thoughtful date idea, take a moment to connect, create, and share in this timeless tradition.
Each class begins with a short history of the traditions behind dim sum making. Then, our head chef will guide you towards the very first steps of the process.
Under the watchful guidance of our team, you will be making five types of dim sum from our Chai Wu dim sum platter. These include our most-loved range: duck and truffle, peashoot seafood, lobster topped with caviar, prawn with black truffle, vegetarian with goji berry, prawn siu mai with scallop and XO.
Chai Wu’s very own pastry dough and fillings will be ready-made and provided for you, alongside all the equipment you will need to make this delightful treat. Just bring yourself and your party!
At the end of your stay with us, guests are invited to stay for our afternoon tea dim sum experience.
To secure this exclusive experience, please get in touch, and we would be delighted to assist with your arrangements.
